Unit 4: Relationships

The same three steps, applied to new kinds of questions:

• Do categorical data fit a claimed distribution?
• Are two categorical variables related?
• Do several groups have different means?
• How well does one quantitative variable predict another?

Each method again starts with a simulation and then brings in its model: \(\chi^2\), \(F\), or \(t\) for a regression slope.
